Short version: your audio never leaves your device, and Tailwave doesn't track you.
Your audio and projects
Tailwave runs entirely in your browser. It has no account, no upload and no server of its own for your work. Files you open are copied into your browser's private storage on this device; edits, recordings and exports happen there, and exports are handed to you as downloads.
Clearing this site's data in your browser removes your projects. Save the ones you want to keep as project files () or export them.
No tracking
Tailwave sends no usage data, uses no analytics, and sets no advertising or tracking cookies. Your settings (theme, export choices, presets, keyboard shortcuts) are kept in your browser only.
If something goes wrong
When the editor stops because of an error, it keeps a short technical report in your browser and offers it to you the next time, with a button to copy it. It is never sent anywhere; share it only if you choose to.
Hosting
The website and the editor's files are served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare handles the network requests your browser makes to download these files. Your audio is not part of them.
